The art container is a small, mobile exhibition space, which implements the idea, to carry art into public places. The art crate is replaced four times a year and its based in Uster, to arouse the curiosity of the passing public. At each site an art exhibition is on show: Three of the four annual exhibitions are arranged by the two current and one former candidates, and the fourth is arranged by a guest.

The art container is made of wood and supported by a steel structure, which is then hanged and then transported by a truck. It works like a shop window, which is illuminated. The glass panes can be mounted in two different positions: front an middle of the box, so that the audience has a passage to walk through.
